Med Design provides healthcare consulting and design services for the benefit of patients, healthcare professionals and the community. 

Dr Caroline Christie founded the company. She is a New Zealand trained GP with over 25 years clinical experience. She spent three years working in the field of Health Promotion in Melbourne, Australia. It was during this time that she worked on a number of projects to improve the health and wellbeing of patients, staff and the community. She gained a wealth of knowledge in healthcare design having conducted in-depth research on the health promoting effects of the physical and social healthcare environment. This resource entitled "Waiting for Health" has been published by the Department of Human Services, Victoria, Australia.  

Upon returning to Christchurch with a young family she has been consulting to Pegasus Health since 2008 as well as practising as a general practitioner. She has been developing and facilitating small group education for health professionals. Caroline has presented at a number of conferences in New Zealand and overseas. She is currently the leader for clinical support at Pegasus Health working to put systems in place to support GPs to practice safe medicine. She is also a director on two boards, Pegasus Health Charitable and BPAC NZ.
